Here's what we were working with - an older system that had run its course. You can see the beat-up old air handler and return box pulled out and sitting on the front lawn, worn-down insulation, rusted duct connections, the works. That kind of deterioration doesn't just affect comfort. It quietly drives up your energy bill every single month.

We swapped it out for a brand new Carrier 15 SEER system. That SEER rating matters - it's a direct measure of efficiency, and stepping up to 15 SEER from an older, lower-rated unit means the system works less hard to cool the same space. Less strain on the equipment, lower energy costs, and a longer lifespan overall.

The other piece of this job that made a real difference was the return. We added a 20-foot return to help the home breathe properly. A lot of people don't realize that an undersized or poorly positioned return is one of the most common reasons a home won't cool evenly. Rooms that stay warm no matter what the thermostat says - that's often a return problem, not just an equipment problem. Getting that airflow balance right is just as important as the unit itself.

We handled everything from the outdoor condenser units along the side of the house to the air handler up in the attic. New Carrier equipment throughout, properly connected and set up. The new ceiling return vent inside the home finished it off clean. One complete AC replacement done right, start to finish.

When a system is struggling - short cycling, uneven cooling, or just old age - patching it usually isn't the answer. A properly sized new installation sets the home up for years of reliable comfort without the constant repair calls. That's the kind of work we're proud to put our name on.
